A heritage property dating from 1869–1875 is in danger of being demolished soon. An initial application for demolition by a developer was refused by the Sud-Ouest Advisory Planning Committee. The same developer has made another application for a permit to demolish the building located at 119 Rue Rose-de-Lima in Sud-Ouest Borough and replace it with a six-unit condominium building.
