Like many schools in Montreal, École Sainte-Bibiane has been inadequately maintained for years. The building has been vacant since June 2015 pending major work. It is classified as “très vétuste” (severely derelict) by the Commission scolaire de Montréal (CSDM). No work appears to be scheduled over the short term, as students have been relocated to another school “for an indeterminate period.”

Update by: Gordon Shields
Was originally known as Drummond School, and was operated by the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal until 1970’s.
