Building 7 (Le Bâtiment 7), an abandoned train shop, sits on the former CN yards. Its ownership is being transferred to the Collectif 7 à nous, a non-profit group in Pointe-Saint-Charles that has sought its use for community, cultural and social-economy purposes since 2009. Delays in the transfer process and in renovations, however, are jeopardizing the physical integrity of the building.
