This Craftsman-style house was recently sold. The new owner initially submitted a demolition permit request to the Town of Montreal West. The proposal involved demolishing the main house and the double garage, subdividing the large lot into three, and constructing three new single-family homes: one detached and two semi-detached.

The property is located within the Easton architectural sector, as designated by the Site Planning and Architectural Integration Program (SPAIP) of the Town of Montreal West.

A public meeting was held on December 23, 2019, during which a second public notice of demolition was issued. However, no decision was made at that meeting. In January 2020, the demolition request was withdrawn. The house was later renovated and sold in 2024. Since then, no new demolition permit has been requested.
