It is part of the area around the Wellington\/Murray intersection, which also includes the remains of St. Ann\u2019s Church, the public urinals, and what was once the row of houses on de la Montagne Street. With its four lanes (pedestrian, streetcar, and two lanes for cars), it is part of the evolving transportation network of Montreal, especially in the southwest.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the tunnel\u2019s northern entrance is blocked by concrete blocks and iron bars. Meanwhile, the southern end at the Lachine Canal has been buried. In recent years, this part of the city has been under significant real estate development pressure.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<a data-open-side-bar class=\"add-content-link next-arrow\"
