Another mayor of Longueuil, Henri St-Mars, in office from 1912 to 1915, also lived there. A vast and generous garden once surrounded the property.<\/p>\n<p>The building was once home to the restaurant La Devini\u00e8re, where the extension was built, in contrast to the more classical style of the house. After a few years of vacancy, the restaurant Le Fleuron moved in, resulting in further changes to the fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, the restaurant Le Fleuron has closed its doors and signs &#8220;For sale for commercial development&#8221; have been installed on the property. Its windows are sash windows and the upper sash is surrounded by colored glass: this is a characteristic of the Queen Anne style. The gallery once had a square return. Almost none of the ornamental woodwork remains, except for the finial on the pediment facing Saint-Laurent Street. It should be noted that the entrance hall is covered with an allegorical ceramic fresco of great quality.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the residence is inventoried in the <a
