The last batch of bread came out of the oven in the 1950s. One of L\u00e9onard&#8217;s sons then started his own business, Excavation Bouchard, in 1955.<\/p>\n<p>Located in the sector of exceptional heritage value of the village core of Sainte-Genevi\u00e8ve, the house is now the subject of a demolition request from the borough, as reported by the local historical society on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9-patrimoine-et-histoire-de-l%C3%AEle-Bizard-et-Sainte-Genevi%C3%A8ve-452270428225292\/\">its Facebook page (in French)<\/a>, which has also produced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F452270428225292%2Fvideos%2F743711873194754%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560\">short video explaining the history of this ancestral house<\/a>.
