It is one of the few remaining mansions downtown on Sherbrooke Street. The building has been vacant for some time except when in use for filming. Vagrants are frequently seen “camping” on the site. The garden in front of the building is not being maintained and the grounds are often full of litter. In general, the site does not appear to be protected by any security measures putting it at risk of fire or irreversible deterioration by neglect.
